Bus: For budget-conscious travellers, state-run and private buses operate regular services between Ahmedabad and Dwarka. The journey takes approximately 10 to 12 hours, with buses departing from various bus terminals in Ahmedabad and arriving at Dwarka bus station. From Dwarka, travellers can hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach Shivrajpur Beach, which is about 20 kilometres away.
By Train:
Train: Ahmedabad is well-connected to Dwarka by rail, with several trains operating between the two cities daily. Travellers can board a train from Ahmedabad Junction (ADI) to Dwarka (DWK) or Okha (OKHA), both of which are close to Shivrajpur Beach. The journey takes approximately 10 to 12 hours, depending on the train’s route and schedule. From Dwarka or Okha, travellers can hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach Shivrajpur Beach.
By Air:
Flight: While there is no airport in Dwarka, the nearest airport is located in Jamnagar, approximately 145 kilometres away. Travellers can fly from Ahmedabad to Jamnagar Airport (JGA) and then continue their journey to Dwarka by taxi or bus. Alternatively, travellers can fly to Rajkot Airport (RAJ), which is approximately 225 kilometres from Dwarka, and then proceed to Dwarka by road.
